1. Do what you fear doing/stretch past your limits on a daily basis:  stepping out of your level of comfort, even baby steps count.

  2. Have goals, but remain flexible:  no plan should be cast in concrete, unless it becomes more important than achieving the goal.

  3. Stop procrastinating:  Procrastination is attitude’s natural assassin; treat inaction as the only failure:  Wayne Gretzky, “you miss 100% of the shots you never take.”

  4. Think before you speak:  Keep silent rather than express something that doesn’t serve your purpose.

  5. Celebrate your failures:  Your most important lessons in life will come from what you don’t achieve.  Find the opportunities and possibilities.
